Flight Rider has two flight modes found on the switch at the bottom center of the controller.

The first is Beginner Flight Mode (1) which has slower acceleration and turning for increased control. The left control stick controls the altitude. Push the left control stick up to go higher, or pull down to go lower. The right control stick controls the steering. Push up to go forward, down for reverse, left to steer left, and right to steer right.

In Advanced Flight Mode (2), Flight Rider’s acceleration and turning are faster for aggressive control. The altitude, or left control stick, remains the same, but now includes rotating to the left of right. The right directional stick will still control moving forward or backwards, but now includes steering to the left or right.
