You don’t want to dry your creation all the way with the sleeve and core still attached. Removing the sleeve after drying may cause your creation to crack.

If your project isn’t holding its shape after you remove the core and sleeve however, you can leave the core and sleeve in for support for the first 20-30 minutes of drying. 

If your creation is still collapsing, put the sleeve and core back in and wait a little longer. As soon as your creation can stand on its own, remove the sleeve and core, and leave it to air dry.
