How do I sew in the middle of the fabric?

To sew in the middle of the fabric, please follow these steps:

Use the Unjamming Knob and rotate it until the arrow is facing up.
Lift the foot lever and remove the fabric.
DO NOT remove the cartridge until the steps above are complete.
