What do I do if I can't find the string to cut when I slide back the cutting tab?

If you cannot find the string to cut when you slide back the cutting tab, please try these troubleshooting steps:

Please ensure that you do not move/pull on the fabric once the sensor stops the machine.
Release the cutting tab. Press in and turn the unjamming knob clockwise until the arrow is pointing up. Then try to pick up the string again with the cutting tab.
Remove the fabric, pull out the thread and try again.
