If your Hatchimal™ is not making any sounds right out of the package, please make sure you have removed both key locks from the bottom of the egg so your Hatchimal™ knows it is time to wake up!

Remember that your Hatchimal™ can't hatch without your help! If you put the egg down on the table your Hatchimal™ can't tell if you're there and will stop hatching.

If your Hatchimal™ was working but is having trouble hatching it may be tired. Let’s give it a short nap.
Start by placing one hand on the bottom of the egg, and your other hand on the very top of the egg. Turn the egg upside down and slowly count to 15. You may hear your Hatchimal start to snore!
Next, place your Hatchimal™ on a flat surface and wait a few seconds. Pick the Hatchimal™ back up.
Your Hatchimal™ should be responding now!

If your Hatchimal™ is still having trouble hatching after a short nap, it may need a bit of a twist.
Hold the base of the egg with one hand. Quickly twist the egg clockwise and counterclockwise using your wrist. Try and rotate your Hatchimal™ slightly inside of the egg. If you listen closely you may be able to hear it rotating inside the egg.
After twisting, put the egg down on a flat surface and wait a few seconds, then pick the egg back up.
Your Hatchimal™ should be responding now!

If your Hatchimal is still having trouble hatching, let’s check if something has gotten in the way of your Hatchimal™’s beak.
Find your Hatchimal™’s beak. You can find it in between and just below the eyes. Give the egg a gentle squeeze to push your Hatchimal™’s beak away from the shell. Don’t worry if the egg cracks a little, it won’t hurt your Hatchimal™. You can also try breaking away a small piece of shell on either side of the beak to give your Hatchimal™ a little extra help.
